As I said on FB, I don’t take very much from it. Just uttering those words “I support gay marriage” takes little to no bravery. DOING something about it does. It’s taken 4 years of skirting the issue, the VP showing his support, a very poor beginning to his reelection year, pitiful unemployment issues, and the fear of his broken promises affecting his possibility of a next term to even say anything about it. He wouldn’t even make a STATEMENT about why he will/won’t say shit about it when it was brought up before… Just “no, I won’t talk about it”.
I really feel it’s just another bid to make people like him. They never seem to really look at that before they start campaigning, but once they see the lack of faces at support rallies, it’s time to be the savior of the world!! All of a sudden everyone is doing “what’s right”.

I have to agree. All of that said he’s most likely got my vote because I will have to leave the country if Romney or anyone like him wins.
